Halloween is almost upon us and so with every hour leading up to Oct. 31 the veil between the spiritual and physical world diminishes.
It’s such a vulnerable time for the unready, for the ghosts who are not spiritually steady. Those who carelessly dabble without cause or care can enter a most unscrupulous affair. Human curiosities are prime prey to mold like clay, easy to cord while easily lured toward endless pitfalls of unknown laws and dangerous claws.
On the upside, it’s also the best time of year to “clean house” and get rid of the unwanted, unnecessary and non-beneficial energies in our lives.
Many Metro-Spirituals unintentionally spread their energy out like an open buffet for all to feast upon and then wonder why they feel depleted and defeated afterwards.
While we should always be cautious and attentive to whom we let into our bubbles of light, there are certain times of the year when one should be extra cautious. Like now.
For centuries “All Hallows Eve” on Oct. 30 was a celebration of connecting with lost loved ones on the other side because the veil between the worlds was so thin. But these days, so often the masses try to connect with “the other side” because it seems fun, and why not?
If you prefer agitating cranky ghosts with ill-intended agendas for your own personal amusement during the most powerful time to do so — which will likely have long-term negative affects on you — I suggest reading one of my articles on negative attachment or unwanted ghosts.
I also wrote an article on the history of Halloween, so read it if you’re curious.
But let’s focus on ways we can use Halloween to advance our energies by aligning them with our goals and get in tune with the loving, helpful side of the spiritual world.
Understanding that now is prime time for all communications with the otherworldly realms, especially between the physically living and the non-living, is also the best time to cut off unhelpful communications.
It’s the best time to bond with your guides, loved ones and angelic friends and to let them help guide you so you can cut off all those — both spiritual and physical — who do not serve your higher purpose any longer.
I recently spoke with Angelique De Wolfe on the subject. She is a spiritual counselor, vibrational healer, psychic medium, reiki master, energy cleanser, tarot card reader…the list goes on. She is well-suited to discuss the multi-layered spiritual realms.
But understanding the power you have right now is a tricky treat. You can cut ties with anything negative in your life by imagining a cord, and then envisioning that cord being severed.
Take 15 minutes to do this again and again over the next few days. Put yourself in a white solid light of protection. See it, feel it, and then imagine a big blade cutting all cords that are attached to your energy — but are not benefitting you — being severed.
That goes for any negative relationship: sexual, friendship, work-related, family or spiritual.
Angelique suggested reciting this when you do it: “I cut the cord throughout all time and space. I am taking back my power I may have given you and I am giving you back your power I may have taken from you.”
She explained that cutting the cord dilutes the energy with the person or entity, who will then feel the shift and will often almost immediately try to reach out to you. You will then need to repeat envisioning cutting the cords.
I have done it many times in my life, both with ex-friends and lovers with whom neither was serving the other’s higher needs. It works, but you need to do it with love and no ill feelings. Be thankful for what you learned and realized.
Which leads me to this: We are all trying to figure it out and we are all part of a ripple affect. We have for so long all lived in our own bubbles and if it doesn’t affect us directly, then who cares, right?
Wrong! Every single thought affects the collective as a whole because we are all from the same source of energy. We are all one, and every action and reaction affects something that affects something else, and on and on it goes.
As Angelique eloquently put it: “At the end of the day, we are all just walking each other home.”
We are at a crucial time right now, my friends. We need more love energy and less hate. Let’s do our part, as small as it may seem. Clean out our own crud and lesson the negative weight. Transparency can be seen through the veil on Oct. 31. Let’s use it to our advantage.
“Most people want to just live their lives, but most people are good and will help one another,” Angelique said. “It’s all coming to the surface, like a volcano; it’s a pressure cooker. We have to heal the many riffs we have and move on collectively.
“We need to bring in that love of this new level of existence. If I’m good and I can help you and make your life better, then we are both more empowered.”
Angelique and I are doing a Faceook Live shindig Sunday, Oct. 29 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. ET (3:30-4:30 p.m. Pacific Time). You can send your questions ahead of time or message us during the live event.
