I believe New Yorkers can handle just about anything — including compelling new information claiming the government is on the verge of coming clean about UFOs and ETs being real.
After all, dealing with unidentified flying objects and funny-looking humanoids is a typical subway ride for most New Yorkers, who the rest of the country see as an alien breed of their own, anyway.
But being open to odd things that seemingly make no sense is at the core of being a Big Apple MetroSpiritual, and I suspect things are about to get juicy!
Multiple news reports have come out in recent days — including serious stories from such major media outlets as the New York Times and the Times of London — detailing how Hillary Clinton, if elected, would likely be the first President to open up top-secret government files that would reveal the truth about such UFO phenomena as the supposed 1947 crash of a flying saucer in Roswell, N.M.
That’s if Barack Obama doesn’t beat her to it as the first so-called “disclosure President.”
“I believe that these extraterrestrial vehicles and their crews are visiting this planet from other planets which obviously are a little more technically advanced than we are here on Earth.” — Col. L. Gordon Cooper, Mercury 9 astronaut
Common sense prevails when it comes to the probability of extraterrestrial life. NASA has confirmed millions of observable galaxies in one tiny image alone from the Hubble Deep Field telescope.
There’s even a planet in our galaxy, Kepler-452b, that’s nicknamed Earth 2.0 because it’s so similar to our planet.
Earth is, after all, just one itty-bitty planet within one minuscule galaxy surrounded by an ever-expanding universe. So kudos to us for braving it out here in the Milky Way, it’s not always easy!
But isn’t it time we start asking more questions? For years the public has been treated like kindergarteners who can’t handle the truth about the existence of aliens. Or that the secrecy is for “national security” reasons.
We repeatedly get polite, non-responsive, unsubstantiated excuses from our government. But we deserve real answers about Unidentified Flying Objects — a term, by the way, that has become outdated.
Instead of “UFO,” the preferred name for strange objects in the sky is now Unidentified Aerial Phenomena, or UAP — as Hillary Clinton herself recently explained to talk show host Jimmy Kimmel.
“It looked like a saucer, a disc. About that same time I realized that it was suddenly going away from me — and there I was, running at about 300 miles an hour. I tracked it for a little while and then all of sudden the damn thing just took off. It pulled about a 45-degree climbing turn and accelerated and just flat disappeared.” — Donald Slayton, Mercury 7 astronaut
I recently met with one of the leading UAP investigators whose efforts have led to the push for government transparency. For over 20 years Stephen Bassett has dedicated his life to uncovering the truth as head of the Paradigm Research Group, which has posted some fascinating information on its site.
According to Bassett, the Pentagon is covering up the existence of ETs — and even some U.S. Presidents have been kept in the dark.
Basset, who calls all the secrecy the “truth embargo,” believes it’s about to end as the public begins to demand answers — and as Hillary Clinton, who has long had a fascination with UFOs, has expressed her willingness to “go into the those files,” as she recently told Kimmel, and share what’s in them as long as it wasn’t a threat to national security.
Bassett explained to me that the optimism over the government finally lifting the truth embargo started with the so-called Rockefeller Initiative.
In the 1990’s Laurance Rockefeller, a philanthoprist and brother of former U.S. vice-president Nelson Rockefeller, sponsored and funded many UFO-related inquiries with hopes of forcing government agencies like the CIA and the U.S. Air Force into officially disclosing the existence of UFOs/UAPs and ETs.
Rockefeller had ongoing meetings with President Bill Clinton and many of his closest aides and advisers — including Hillary Clinton and John Gibbons, the White House Science and Technology adviser at the time.
The hope was that Clinton would be the first President to say, “Uh…people of America? We are not alone. Surprise!”
You can read the official correspondences about UFOs between Rockefeller and top advisers within the Clinton administration here. They back this story up.
(With a smile, Basset acknowledged that the release of these documents was an accidental oversight by someone in the government. They are currently “classified,” meaning you can’t get them from the government, but luckily they’re posted on the Paradigm website for all to see.)
“In my official status, I cannot comment on ET contact. However, personally, I can assure you, we are not alone!” — Charles J. Camarda (Ph.D.) NASA Astronaut
Bassett was also behind the Citizen Hearing on Disclosure in 2013, which was held in Washington and included testimony from retired military personnel — some of whom witnessed UFOs shutting down the control centers at nuclear launch sites in different locations over the past 50 years.
Sworn to secrecy, some testified for the first time at the hearing. Many of the witnesses, now in their 70’s, perhaps felt it was time to tell the truth.
Other high-ranking government agents and top researchers also testified before a panel that included six former members of Congress. (The videos can be viewed here.)
“I was on duty when an object came over and hovered directly over the site. The missiles shut down, 10 Minuteman missiles. The same thing happened a week later.
“There’s a strong interest by these objects, wherever they come from. I personally think they’re not from Planet Earth.
“The U.S. Air Force is lying about the national security implications of unidentified aerial objects at nuclear bases and we can prove it.” — Retired USAF Capt. Robert Salsa on the — 1967 Malmstrom AFB, Mont., incident.
Another reason why the UAP community feels the time is near for disclosure is because of John Podesta, who was Bill Clinton’s Chief of Staff and former Counselor to President Obama.
Podesta, who has been at the forefront of the disclosure movement for years and has been trying to loosen the grips from those he believes are hiding the truth, is currently the Chairman of Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign.
Podesta, who in February 2015 tweeted, “Finally, my biggest failure of 2014: Once again not securing the disclosure of the UFO Files, ” once told a crowd at the National Press Club in Washington that “It’s time to open the books on questions that have remained in the dark, on the question of government investigations of UFOs. It’s time to find out what the truth really is that’s out there.
“We ought to do it, really, because it’s right, because the American people, quite frankly, can handle the truth, and we ought to do it because it’s the law.”
If you’re thinking, “If aliens are really here, well then why don’t they just show themselves?”
Well, they have — many, many times. I encourage all to do a little research. There are many credible videos and photos posted on the Internet. Besides the famous Roswell case here a few examples that are hard to deny:
The 1977 Phoenix Lights case, when an estimated seven-mile long spacecraft was witnessed by hundreds of people including Arizona’s former Governor Fife Symington, who as a former pilot said it looked otherworldly.
On July 7, 2010, the Xiaoshan Airport in China was shut down for over an hour because of a UFO.
On Nov. 7, 2006, 12 United Airline workers at Chicago’s O’Hare Airport, along with many other witnesses, reported a metallic saucer shaped object hovering over Gate C-17.
“I am convinced that UFOs exist because I have seen one.” — President Jimmy Carter (he even filed a UFO report!)
A classic UFO photo from an alleged 1965 sighting in California.
If you or someone you know has seen something otherworldly, you are not alone. Many famous people have seen UAPs. A short list includes Mick Jagger, Russell Crow, Victoria Beckham, David Bowie, Elvis Presley, Muhammad Ali, Dan Aykroyd, Billy Ray Cyrus, Tom Cruise, Jackie Gleason, Walter Cronkite, Buzz Aldrin, William Shatner, Sammy Hagar, Fran Drescher, John Lennon, Christopher Columbus, Alexander The Great, and Presidents Roosevelt, Eisenhower, Carter, Nixon, Reagan and even George Washington.
“On the 23rd Aug. 1974, at 9 o’clock I saw a U.F.O.” — John Lennon
A recent poll says that more people today believe they will see a UFO before they will see a Social Security check. If the government does decide to come out of the UAP closet, I think most people would embrace the news.
In all honesty, our man-made tinker-toys that can go to space and back must seem adorable to the ET’s as their spacecrafts accelerate to light speed. Their technology is years beyond ours, and if they wanted to hurt us they would have already.
Common sense leans more towards the ETs making sure humans keep Mother Earth alive. It’s only fair. We do depend on her for everything!
“To my mathematical brain, the numbers alone make thinking about aliens perfectly rational. The real challenge is to work out what aliens might actually be like.” — Stephen Hawking, cosmologist
Even Donald Trump couldn’t possibly fathom building a wall that could keep these aliens out. But no real conclusions can be made until we have more information. Our elected officials must acknowledge the overwhelmingly abundant treasure chest-full of information at their disposal. It absolutely requires actual explanations. I don’t imagine the majority of us would be the least bit surprised — I think we already know!
Whether or not Obama or Clinton becomes the first disclosure President, it’s the people of this great country who hold the real power needed to force the government’s hand into publicly releasing all of the UAP and ET files.
If we don’t ask, they won’t tell. Let’s start asking!
